PASS BASIC Program- The Industry Standard

NOTE: If you do not have an access code from your employer or third party company, trainee can proceed directly to payment info section to complete his/her registration transaction with you credit card.

If you have an access code, please review the instructions below;

Trainee must create an account with driver’s information first before proceeding to register

Step 1. Click red button “Create Account”, enter email address, create password, enter driver legal name(same as driver license) and employer information

Step 2. Click blue button “Create Account”.

Step 3. Click Home” button then click “(PASS) Basic 7.0 Online Driver Training

Step 4. Click green button “Register” then at top click blue button “Complete Registration Now

Step 5. On the Cart Page, enter the access code in the box, then click green button “Apply Discount” (code case sensitive) Total Price reads “0”

Total not zero, NEVER USE CREDIT CARD/(NO REFUNDS); click Remove button on Cart page and begin registration process again.

Step 6. Click green button “Complete Registration”.

Step 7. On Registration Complete Page, click green button “View Product”, under content tab, click “View Course” to begin

You must have at least 15 Megabits per second of internet download speed to play, view and access the test.

Log in as Returning User:

Go to “returning user” section enter trainee email address and password you created then click “Log in .  Go your designated program then click “view” button.   Drive course will be available under the Content tab.  Click “View Course” to view the module.   If you have completed the program, scroll to bottom and Click blue button “View/Print Your Certificate”

For new drivers:

The PASS program focuses on sensitivity training to drivers that provide assistance to passengers with special needs. The trainee administers an online component in subject areas including but not limited to Customer Service, Communication and Stress Management, Americans with Disabilities Act, Bloodborne Pathogens and Disability Awareness.  This self-paced course includes 7 modules with a test at the end of each module.  Upon completion of all 7 modules, the trainee can obtain a printable PASS Basic certificate including a number.

In order to receive a PASS driver certification in wheelchair securement training, the trainee is required to have a certified PASS trainer administer the wheelchair securement (hands-on) training in person. Trainee must follow-up directly with his/her employer to schedule training. CTAA can provide a list of trainers if one is not available. Email your request to include the state you reside in directly to training department at Wheelchair securement (hands-on) training must be completed within 3 months of receiving the basic online certification to avoid certification overlap.

Do Not Use Internet Explorer or Edge.  Use Google Chrome browser.  Before you begin to view the course, make sure you disable your popup blockers, have (1) browser opened.  Do not have multiple browsers from other sites opened.  Also, you may want to clear your history to allow you to move forward.

If you are on a mobile devise, we highly recommend you use a WI-FI connection, not a data connection, turn off ALL notifications for emails/calls/texts/updates, do NOT use the refresh button when in the course.  If you leave the course, use the EXIT button.
