PASS Full Driver Recertification Program

The PASS Full Driver Wheelchair Recertification Program continues to focus on sensitivity skills and training with relevant regulatory changes and up to date information on assistance drivers should be providing to passengers with special needs, intensive emergency situation training. This re-certification is valid for 2 years.

The trainee is only eligible to complete The PASS Driver Recertification Program if trainee attendee the wheelchair securement training in person with our standard PASS driver training two-day classroom. Or, attended the PASS basic online plus in class Hands-On Training (wheelchair securement) training. This program is a renewal program and the participant is required to pay the recertification fee.  If you have not attended the PASS wheelchair securement training in person with a certified PASS trainer, you are not eligible to take for the recertification program. Do not register for this program. Your status will not be validated and your information will be removed immediately.  Contact CTAA offices via email at to verify your status.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION REQUEST:  You are required to enter your PASS Basic Certificate Number if you completed the Basic online plus Hand-on training; email the training department to retrieve your basic online certificate number. Or, you are required to enter your Account ID number if you completed the two-day classroom training; email the training department to retrieve your account ID number.

All recertification registrations will be reviewed and verified the driver has previously attended the wheelchair securement training in person.  If the driver is not eligible, the registration and status will be cancelled immediately.  No Exceptions. To determine if you are eligible to administer the driver recertification program, email your request to the training department to verify your status at
