The Community Transportation Association of America (CTAA) is a national nonprofit membership organization representing public and private transportation providers. CTAA is a recognized leader in the field of transit education, training and information.

Welcome to CTAA’s online recertification webpage. The following programs are available for online recertification.

PASS (Passenger Service and Safety) Trainer The PASS Trainer re-certification program certifies that current PASS certified trainers have comprehensive up-to-date expertise in passenger assistance techniques and emergency preparedness.  Certification holders who successfully complete the online examination component will again be certified by CTAA in the Passenger Service and Safety (PASS) Trainer program.

Your updated certification is valid for three years from date issued.

 CCTS (Certified Community Transit Supervisor) The CCTS re-certification program certifies that current CCTS certified supervisors maintain the highest level of skills in the areas of front line operations, human resource, safety, and performance-based management. Certification holders who successfully complete the online examination component will again be certified by CTAA in the Certified Community Transit Supervisor (CCTS) program.

Your updated certification is valid for three years from date issued.

 PDS (Professional Dispatching and Scheduling)  The PDS recertification program certifies current PDS certified dispatchers maintain the high standards needed in today’s demand-responsive environment. Certification holders who successfully complete the online examination component will again be certified by CTAA in the Professional Dispatching and Scheduling (PDS) program.

Your updated certification is valid for three years from date issued.

 VMMI (Vehicle Maintenance Management and Inspection)  The VMMI recertification program certifies that current VMMI certified maintenance personnel continue with the high level of expertise necessary to maintain today’s transit fleets. All personnel who successfully complete the online examination component will be professionally certified by CTAA in the Vehicle Maintenance Management and Inspection (VMMI) program

Your updated certification is valid for three years from date issued.

Request a PIN Code: To update your certification please go to www.ctaa.org/recertification  
After your original certification is verified, you will be assigned an Exam PIN Code.

Proceed to Your Exam

To access your exam, select the 'Register' button for you elected exam below. On the following page, please create an account if you have not already done so. Then, enter your PIN code in the Discount Code field in the check out area and finalize your registration.
